Geopoetics in Wales:  A Geopoetics Day in Snowdonia on Saturday 10 September 2022

Published by Norrie on

Our first ever Geopoetics Day in North Wales will take place at Betws y Coed in Snowdonia on Saturday 10 September starting at 11 am. Poems will be read outdoors and there will be walks round some of the lead mines in the expert company of Marika Gates, geologist and project manager of the Welsh Metal Mines Programme.

Our Assistant Director Pat Corbett is coming all the way from Edinburgh to the event and if poems, prose and artwork are produced as a result of being inspired by the Day, they could appear in a future edition of our online journal Stravaig. Please bring along some poems to read at this free event. You don’t have to be a member to attend, so please let your friends know that all are welcome. Register at  which has more details about the Day or reply to Marcelle Newbold.
